Nicola Macleod
Nic started life sailing and swimming but was enticed into adventure racing by friends at uni and soon took off to New Zealand to try her hand at the longer stuff. This year has brought success in various disciplines: Ironman distance triathlon, a win in the World Championships AR in Portugal, running, kayaking and biking ….. what next?
“I love the races which involve a journey and have had some stunning times in Newfoundland, America, Europe, Africa, UK, NZ, Chile with AR folks. Next year I’m looking forward to returning to magical Patagonia and the world championships in Spain (work allowing) and making time for some long distance triathlon training and red wine by the fire!”
